Session of the National commission on the European integration was spent by Vladimir Voronin, the president of Republic of Moldova. The head of the state has made a number of comments directly related to a question of the European integration. They concerned events on caucasus which estimation has been given in the statement of our government. The main thing is conditions of stability, tolerance and dialogue which are capable to become a basis of any positive projects, any initiatives. The president has underlined, that the reserved, weighed position of Moldova on Dnestr settlement, the consecutive and methodical euromodernization of the country which are carried out without false, emotional slogans, at last, have drawn attention to Moldova, to our experience in this area.
During session the vice-premier, the Minister for Foreign Affairs and the European integration Andrey Stratan has presented the information on results of last consultations between Moldova and EU which have taken place on September, 9th and 17, and also about results of session of subcommittee on cooperation with EU which have passed on September, 24th. Andrey Stratan has informed as on positive shifts which were marked within the limits of these meetings, as well as about problems in which our European partners have specified.
Prime minister Zynaida Grechannaja, the first vice-premier, the Minister of Economics and trade Igor Dodon, Minister of Justice Vitaly Pyrlog have informed on results of introduction of "motoring map" on the European integration accepted by us for 2008. The first vice-premier has acquainted with results of introduction of this "motoring map" in power sphere, and also with results of consultations under the power contract, and Minister of Justice Vitaly Pyrlog has informed on the actions undertaken in the field of strengthening of independence of justice and protection of human rights in Republic Moldova.
The chairman of the Parliamentary commission on foreign policy and the European integration Grigory Petrenko has presented the report on bills which should be accepted during osenne-spring session of parliament.
The secretary of the National commission on the European integration Natalia Katrinesku has informed present about preparation of the report on realisation of the accepted Plan of priorities on the European integration for its subsequent representation on session of Committee on cooperation Republic Moldova - the European union which will take place on October, 3rd.
Members of the National commission on the European integration have decided, that its following session will take place on October, 21st this year.
