The union of officers of Republic of Moldova (ÑÎÐÌ) which has held today the third republican meeting, has received in gift from the International union of the Soviet officers a copy of the Banner of the Victory which has been set up on May, 1st 1945ã on a building ðåéõñòàãà in Berlin. The Moldavian officers have transferred a banner copy to storage to the Ministry of Defence.
Transferring a banner to chairman ÑÎÐÌ, major general Vadim Mishinu, the chairman of the Union of officers of Moscow admiral Ivan Tatarnitsky, has told, that the copy of the Banner of a victory urged to remind the Moldavian officers of importance of preservation of the nice past of Moldova always. Ivan Tatarnitsky has noted efforts of a management of our country and personally president Vladimir Voronina in business of preservation of memory of the Great Patriotic War, and also for the sake of development of the country and growth of well-being of the Moldavian citizens.
Ivan Tatarnitsky also has underlined efforts on military-patriotic education of youth. In this context it has estimated activity of the Union of communistic youth of Moldova and, in particular, action in honour of the 90 anniversary from the date of basis ÂËÊÑÌ. «This holiday was marked and in Russia, at personal participation of president Medvedev», - the Russian officer has told. An admiral has handed over to Vladimir Voroninu who was present at third meeting SORM, a commemorative medal «For a victory» as a sign of a recognition of merits of the head of the state in development of young generation.
Vadim Mishin also has thanked the president of the country for the assistance rendered to officers, in particular, for support in increase of pension of veterans of power structures, in the organisation and establishment of Fund of support of veterans of power structures.
The head of the state has expressed to officers deep gratitude for their valorous work in patriotic education of youth, in strengthening of statehood of the country, in preservation of continuity of generations. The union of officers - the important continuer of memory and îáúåäèíèòåëü generations, - has told the president, having given an appreciation to that fact, that to officers was possible to unite in the uniform organisation.
