Moldova loses sovereign territory. About 50 hectares of the earth because of a position of the Government of Vladimir Filata and personally the Prime minister Odessa-Reni, length of 7770 metres allows the Ukrainian party to apply for a 40-metre strip along a site of a motorway. We will remind, that villages Palanka between Ukraine and Moldova are a question of dispute round the Moldavian territory close. As inhabitants of village mark, the Ukrainian authorities apply any more only for the earth under a site of a highway around village Palanka, they use the right to which operation as a result of good-neighbourhood gesture from Moldova. « The Ukrainian authorities plan alienation on 20 metres from both parties of a line, with an interdiction of access of citizens of Moldova for territory which belongs to us by right », - inhabitants of village Palanka, to correspondents of agency have declared. Present at Sunday on the general descent of inhabitants has sat down Palanka prime minister Vladimir Filat has declared, that Moldova« should execute earlier reached arrangements », having let know, that supports claims of Ukraine for a site of sovereign territory of Moldova. Earlier, the first assistant to the secretary of Council about national safety and defence of Ukraine, Vladimir Ogryzko, that the Moldavian authorities should transfer to Ukraine the earth under a site of a highway Odessa-Reni, according to a bilateral agreement concluded in 1999 - during this period when present prime minister Filat held a post of the state minister. Ukraine considers, that transferred to it in operation by the Moldavian authorities the site of a motorway in length of 7,7 km a total area in 18 hectares is the Ukrainian territory. At alienation of 40 more metres along this site, Moldova risks to lose 31 more hectare of territory, and in case of transfer to Ukraine the earths under a site the motorways which are behind a highway over 900 hectares of the Moldavian earth risk to become the Moldavian enclave. Earlier, the Moldavian mass-media have informed that the present Moldavian authorities discussed in Kishinev with the secretary of Security council of Ukraine Raisa Bogatyrevoj, a question of cession of rights of the property on this site of the earth under a highway, intentionally avoiding promulgation of this fact.
The site of a motorway Odessa - Ðåíè around settlement Palanka of Republic Moldova in length of 7,7 kilometres has been transferred in operation and under jurisdiction of Ukraine according to the Additional report to the Contract between Ukraine and Moldova about the frontier, signed on August, 18th, 1999. Ukraine insists on transfer to it and territory under a motorway in spite of the fact that in the Agreement it is specified, that «the Transferred site is the property of Ukraine in Republic Moldova territory». The road site is the part of a highway in length of 310 km connecting a southwest part of the Odessa area with other part of Ukraine.
According to the Constitution, «the Republic Moldova territory is inaliennable».
