First photo-exhibition Dumitru Doru. About photographers and about a photo is written so many that difficultly to avoid banalities. What to do? Probably, to try to try on another's role, to present itself on a place of the press photographer - the such modern hunter behind hot plots. However, some lyrical digression … is necessary
So, exhibition Dumitru Doru has been opened today in commercial centre MallDova. Event has involved both venerable and known, and young and green. Думитру - the press photographer with a wide outlook, the big enthusiasm and sound ambitions. Basically, and it is necessary, differently light in the end of the tunnel and not to make out.
It was the first exhibition - event in a life of each photographer important and remembered. It has left what impressions at the author I do not know. But personally it was pleasant to me многосторонность. On the one hand - the persons of teenagers deformed by rage, with another - живенькие grannies on a shop, impatiently discussing any well very important gossip.
Fairly I admit - I do not love tragic element. Once its presence in product, whether it be article, a film or a photo, was considered as the keystone to success. Since then has overeaten, it would be desirable something more light. But paradox: newspapers and news agencies from press photographers demand just tragedy, a drama. Думитру has managed to keep balance. Even in most gloomy of its photos there is something light, any hope. It is necessary simply to want to see it.
I write and try itself to present the press photographer - that who is fed with feet and timely pressing of a shutter. Interestingly, it occurs mechanically or simply the eye "is so adjusted", what instantly allocates something important - that picture, what subsequently will take a lawful place on pages of newspapers? And it is still interesting, the vital drama as is tragically looked through an objective as well as without it? I am declined, that is not present. Eventually, to observe and participate - different things. However in many photos presented at an exhibition, participation is felt. And it pleases, after all at my nonprofessional sight, it that distinguishes the professional from the simple hunter behind the fried facts.
