On May, 16th, on 76th year of a life legendary opera singer Maria Bieshu has died. Maria Bieshu was born on August, 3rd, 1935 in village Volontirovka, area Shtefan-Vode. In the beginning of career Áèåøó sang national songs, was the soloist of an orchestra of a folk music «Ôëóåðàø», has arrived in conservatory later.
In 1961 Maria Bieshu has been accepted in the Kishinev Opera and ballet theatre. The debut has taken place in the spring of 1962 when it has executed party Florii in Puccini's "Melancholy". Critics named its performance stunning.
In 1965 Maria Bieshu passes training in theatre "La Scala" in Milan. In 1967 the singer achieves success tops - there is «the Best a world Chio-chio-dignity».
Maria Bieshu taught in various musical educational institutions of the world, acted in Moscow, on a Bolshoi theatre scene, and on scenes of Paris, Sydney, Tokyo, Warsaw, Helsinki, Tbilisi, St.-Petersburg.
Since 1990 the prima donna of a national opera held annual international festival «Maria Bieshu» Invites, participation in which was accepted by world stars of an opera and ballet.
