Fursenko has visited Vismos - VISMOS. In 2002 the Russian company "Aroma trading house, become the winner of an investment competition in privatization of combine of champagnes and Vismos vintage wines on November 27 has officially entered possession of this enterprise. The President of Moldova Vladimir Voronin, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in RM Pavel Petrovsky and the chairman of the board of board of directors of holding "Aroma trading house, Valery Zadorin have taken part in inauguration of the Russian-Moldavian joint venture.
Our reference: there is a purpose to increase outputs to 80-100 million bottles (from them 20-25% of champagne), and all production of combine has to be sent for export.
The Aroma trading house has paid 1,4 million dollars for 99,96 percent of shares of JSC Vismos, having undertaken to invest 3,2 million dollars in this enterprise. A half from the total amount of investments will be directed to laying of new vineyards - not less than 500 hectares within the next five years. About 1,1 million dollars will be used for development of material and technical resources of the enterprise, and 500 thousand dollars - on replenishment of current assets. It is planned that at implementation of the investment program "Aroma trading house his partner Moldavian "Businessbank" will act.
The investor has already fulfilled the undertaken obligations for repayment of debts of "Vismos" for a salary to workers which made 1,7 million dollars. Today the average salary at the enterprise has reached 800 леев, however the President of RM has set to the new owner a condition - to bring her level to 100 dollars a month.
"Privatization of "Vismos" is concrete result of activization of the Russian-Moldavian communications after signing on November 19, 2001 of the Basic political treaty of friendship and cooperation, the sign of strategic partnership of Russia and Moldova in economic area". It was declared by the Russian Ambassador in RM Pavel Petrovsky.
