Guznac Valentin, minister of local public administration, born on October 24, 1964 in Corlateni village, District (Rayon) of Riscani.
Valentin goes to the secondary school in his native village, and in 1979 enters the Poly-technical Institute of S. Lazo in Chisinau, the Mechanical Department. Valentin Guznac is also a graduate of the Academy for Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Moldova and the Baltic Institute of Economics, Environment and Law in St. Petersburg.
He is first employed in 1984 as Engineer with the Industrial Association Lenin in the city of Balti. Between 1985 and 1991 his career is ascending from Instructor to Head of Section and then First Secretary of Balti City Committee of the Comsomol (youth organization).
Between 1991-1991, he is Head of Section for the Technical Service Facility in Balti.
In 1992-1992 he is Trade Union Chairman for Balti City Council of State Employers.
In the period 1995-199 Valentin Guznac is Director of North Agency for the Insurance Company Asito-Trafic and the Auto Insurance Company.
In 1999, he is assigned to the position of Assistant to the Head of the Public Administration Section and later - Deputy Mayor of Balti.
In July 2006 Valentin Guznac is appointed Deputy Minister of Local Public Administration.
By Decree of the President of the Republic of Moldova of 16 July 2007, Valentin Guznac is appointed Minister of Local Public Administration.
He is married and father of two children.
