Jean-Claude Mignon - the Chairman of Parliamentary assembly of the Council of Europe, was born on February, 2nd, 1950 in the city of Korbej-Esson, department Esson, France. On a post of the Chairman of Parliamentary assembly of the Council of Europe it is selected on January, 23rd, 2012 at winter 63rd session the PASS. It is married, has two children.
Since 1983 is the mayor of of Dammari-LE-foxes (the term of appointment expires in 2014).

The parliamentary assembly of the Council of Europe (PASS) - one of three basic bodies of the Council of Europe, operates since 1949. The assembly is allocated by advisory functions (till 1974 was called as Advisory assembly). It is authorised to discuss any questions entering into the competence of the Council of Europe. The head the PASS is selected for a period of two years. Nominees of the chairman serially offer five basic parties of assembly.
